O2 day 2Hmm, after day 1 of orientation, somehow, there's nth much to look forward to for orientation 2 anymore... its like, ppl are nt into the whole idea of orientation at all.. In the morn, they tried to start cheers, tried to get ppl to do mass dance... but all we did was to sit on the floor of the indoor gym, play bridge, chit chat, stone, slp or packing up ready to pon.. Really feel sad for the o2 team sia, no doubt they had put a lot of effort into organising o2, seeing them staying back late almost everyday trying to get things done, all in the hope tt o2 will turn out well.. But i guess, it takes 2 hands to clap... No matter how hard the o2 committee may try, if the ppl are not interested at all, nth will come out of it...Think this whole idea of lacking of enthusiasm had resulted in 2 kinds of extreme cases amongst the 2nd intakers (or at least i heard...) The first kind will go "i dun wanna know any of u, i dun wanna play any icebreakers" or simply juz pon the whole o2. The second kind will juz simply cry. HaizZz, hearing this i dunno wat to say oso.. Juz hope tt it dun give the 2nd intakers a bad impression of rj... (though i think tt it had anyway...)Anyway, me og still gt do sth during o2 lah, other then playing bridge (which somehow had became our og's favourite pasttime during o2). Me og decided to participate in the war games, went for the first one, which is some 2pid spagetti fencing thingie where the rules isn't exaclty well explained, causing some misunderstanding n unhappiness.. Lolz, guess our enthusiasm din really last, decided to go support charmaine, our ogl, at her station by playing tt "eagle catch small chick" (literal translation) game. Lolz, was actually quite fun sia, n WE WON !~ =P Hahaz, din know how it happened but it happened anyway.. Went back to indoor gym for bridge after tt..The second part of the day is the batch project, which is selling keychains for the viriya community service. As expected, with tt horrible design n the exorbitant price of 5 bucks, i din managed to sell any.. (partly cuz i'm feeling rather moody n lazy tt day, din bother asking much) Anyway, towards the end, i was told by zhao han tt there is this guy holding the donation bag standing in front of a lady on the phone.. and they had been standing there for HALF AN HOUR ~ Lolz, tt guy really a lot of patience sia. Zhao han, kiat weng and the others decided to guai lan them, all formed a line behind tt guy carrying the same donation bag and took a picture of it. Lolz, imagine u r on the phone and in front of u is one long queue of ppl waiting for yur donations. Lolz, think its quite lame oso..Went to DREAMS at boon keng to return the donation bags n unsold keychains... Lolz, think my only had like arnd 8 bucks or so nia. Can't blame me oso, the 2pid schedule screwed up n we only had an hr or so in toa payoh...Anyway, they tried to do some rock band concert in the open field near DREAMS.. Apparently, the sound system is always the prob sia.. So the concert did really turn out as well as expected. Feel so bad for the ppl performing sia.. up there singing n playing while others r nt even looking at u or walking away... So, tts abt all for day 2 of o2...Class DinnerAfter the concert at DREAMS, me class decided to go to june's hse for dinner.. Had curry chicken, heh, nice sia ~ =P Wah lau, june like super good host lor, move in move out, get us drinks, scared we feel hot, then go carry fan, scared ofe's rice no curry no nice, insisted on adding curry to it. Somemore even lock up the kitchen door to cut watermelon for us... Lolz, make us feel very the bad sia, sit down there waiting to be served... Anyway, dinner was fun, had a lot of laughters n fun. Celebrated chinnie's bday, happy birthday chinnie ~~ =) May u be happy n innocent forever ~Anyway, watched chase after dinner n we left june's hse at 9... So, erm tts abt it for yesterday le, marking the end of o2, welcoming a long weekend ahead.. *grats to mt, elaine, jia hao for their successful appeals ~
